Imagine a time 30 years ago when Johnny Kerry was in High School…..according to his Presidential plans, it would go something like this.

Regarding his National Service plan

On his walk to school, he notices his front yard and several others in the neighborhood needed to be mowed. Since he either does not have the time, or is too lazy to mow it himself, he will demand that several of his classmates do it for him. When he approaches his classmates they don’t understand why they have to be held responsible for his lack of responsibility. Kerry tells them, “Sometimes those more fortunate have to give to lazy, less fortunate people” The kids look at him in wonder, laugh, and walk away.

Regarding his economic policy

Later at school, he sees a boy that borrowed money from him a few days ago and tells him, “Hey Steve, the interest on the money you borrowed just went up another 5%.” Steve responds, “But I don’t have that much money.” Kerry responds, “Oh, well hold on.” Kerry promptly goes up to a rich kid in class and demands that Kerry give him $100. The rich kid doesn’t understand why he has to give his money away. Kerry tells him, “Well, you see Steve over there; he doesn’t have enough money to pay back the money he borrowed from me the other day so I am going to use your money to pay me back.” The rich kid, still confused, says, “But why should I give you the hard earned money my father made, when it was I who suffered by never seeing my father due to the long hours he worked?” Kerry says, “I’m sorry. Your father should not have tried so hard to make all of that money and provide for his family.” Everyone should be of the same class and nobody should strive to be better than average.” Since you and your family are better off than others, I am taking away what you have earned to give to the lazy people, with no education and no parental guidance, and by the way, being that your family is rich, you wouldn’t happen to have a sister would you?” Needless to say, the rich kid looks at Kerry, laughs, and walks away.

Regarding his Military/Defense/Terrorism policies

After school, another boy, Tommy, sees Kerry in the hall hitting on his wealthy sister. Tommy come up to Kerry and beats the living sh!t out of him…..Once Kerry comes to his senses, he says to Tommy, “What did I do to make you so upset?” Tommy tells him to stop talking to his sister. At this point Kerry is scared to death and says, “What can I do to make this up to you?” Tommy says, “Suck my dick and I may not kick your ass again.” Kerry, not wanting to upset Tommy any more, gladly obliges. He figures that appeasement is the best way to deal with this problem and that maybe if he doesn’t make Tommy mad he won’t have to suck him off again.

The next day it starts all over again!

What a great life!

He has no platform,

no ideas,

and no shot.

how long will the liberal media allow him to run for president withoiut specifically stating one single goal or plan?

I personally cannot wait for the debates, in fact I am going to load up on Bush contracts the eve of the first debate,

it is going to be one of the biggest routs in US political debating history.

Kman, your little story works better with Bush as the central character. Like the part about him getting the other kids to mow the lawn - what a great metaphor for Bush's national guard service.

Mudbone - That was a pretty good reply!!!!! WOW! Typical liberal.

If you don't mind, please elaborate on how this story and Bush's military service are even remotely related.

KMan,

No problem. While W. was avoiding draft in National Guard and pulls strings to get in a Guard slot who were much more qualified (after all, he scored in the lowest quartile and had to get his convictions waivered - which there is no record of), (and feel free to look up my previous posts where i documented all of this), he ain't afraid to sit out the Viet Nam War while letting others his age serve. Nor is he overly worried about calling other citizens to war in Iraq on false pretenses.

Thus my analogy to your lawn mower analogy.

Btw, thanks for labeling my post as a typical liberal bresponse. After all these years as a War Veteran, Marine Corps Officer, death penaly advocate, balanced budget advocate and supporter of John McCain, Colin Powell and admirer of Bob Dole, I'm so glad you were able to properly pigeonhole me as a liberal,

So, because he didn't go to Vietnam, he was pulling strings to get out of it? When was this discovered? I thought all of his service was legal, and that is was just something Kerry was trying to make up to take the heat off of his anti-military stance.
